Paul Lambrakis was born and raised in Long Beach, California and graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in accounting.
Paul first attended the horse races as a young teenager with his father and got to see the legendary Native Diver run on that day and has been hooked on horse racing ever since.
Paul has
been handicapping the SoCal horse races for over 30 years and has been the
senior staff handicapper at Santa Anita since 1996. Paul also works as a
handicapper for Hollywood Park and Del Mar. Paul made a name for himself nationally in when he wrote,The 10-Cent Superfecta Complete Guide to Wagering and Winning, and was invited to the 2007 Horseplayers’ Expo in Las Vegas for a book signing. Paul feels
that fan education is the key for horse racing to survive in the the future and
has just written a new book, The Newcomer's
Guide to Horse Racing.
Paul is also part of Today’s Racing Digest's stable of handicappers where his selections and best plays for the SoCal races are available each racing day. |
